We offer several programs for our youngest learners:
Mishpacha
At the synagogue, Sunday afternoons, 3:00-5:00, five times a year, centered around Jewish holidays. Schedules available through the school office. This activity packed program, for children up to 5 years of age along with their parents, brothers, sisters and grandparents, introduces the holidays through treats, games, music, crafts and special performers. Be sure to sign up early for the sessions, always rousing and well attended. For more info contact our Director of Youth and Informal Education, Emily Caufield.
Tot Shabbat
At the synagogue. A Shabbat service specially designed for tots and their families by the Rabbis and Cantor on occasional Friday evenings and Saturday mornings throughout the year. Check the calendar for listings.
Pre-School Library Story Hour
At the synagogue, held in our Temple Chai Library for tots and their families. At these special story hours our librarian, Donna Stewart, introduces Judaism through the library’s resources in Jewish children’s literature, computer programs and DVDs.
